Jane Muir
From 1992 she took a three year post as an artist in residence. During this time her work has been exhibited widely in the UK, notably the V&A Ceramic Contemporaries and in Europe and Japan. She has also won several awards and her work has appeared in articles in Ceramic Review, Daily Telegraph, Royal Academy Magazine, to name but a few. In 1997 she set up her studio in London. All of Jane’s work is hand built and hand decorated using stoneware glazes. Inspiration comes from various sources, such as artists Peter Blake, Eduardo Paolozzi, Elizabeth Frink to the Staffordshire Potters. |
