Ian trained at Avery Hill College as a mature student obtaining a B.Ed Degree. He taught in Cornwall from 1981-92 and now concentrates full time on his artwork.His work depicts landscapes and the human figure and has exhibited work throughout the UK.During the year Ian walks the cornish landscapes regularly returning to the same location to record the enviroment in it's different seasons, noting the changing light and weather conditions for his paintings. |
