Howard was born in Carshalton, 1965. He started woodturning in 1991 and promoted his work through craft fairs around the country. During this time he undertook various commissions producing architectural pieces and furniture restoration work, including presentation gavels for Sothebys. Howard is now exhibiting his work in galleries in the UK and abroad. 'My love of natural history has inspired much of my work. All my materials are obtained from British woods and gardens and only from green sources.' |
