In 2002 she was Elected a Member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and from 2002-06 Elected a Council Member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours
She mainly paints still lifes and interiors with rich colours, patterns, and textural variation. Her compositions often feature wild flowers or exotic plants and incorporate furniture, paintings, and views through windows and doorways. She also enjoys painting semi-abstract landscapes and portraits in oil and acrylic.
She has exhibited widely in London and won several awards including; the 'June Stokes-Roberts Bursary’, The Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers, 1995, the ‘National Young Artist’, Laing Art Competition, 1999, First Prize, ‘Winsor & Newton Young Artist’, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, 1999 and the ‘Frank Herring Award for Still Life’, 2000
Publications include; ‘The Artist’, November 2005 and February 2006 and
‘Painting with Watercolour.’
