Bryan Sentance

(View Profile)Bryan draws inspiration for his paintings from the landscape and culture of North Devon and Cornwall where he lives and works, in particular the cliffs and beaches of the North Cornwall coast where he often walks with his wife and dog.
His illustrations have appeared on the BBC programme Jackanory and been published in a collection of Indian Folk Tales. He has illustrated a dozen books on textiles and crafts from around the world as well as writing five himself.
Having worked in watercolour for many years, he made a change to acrylics in an attempt to achieve stronger colour effects and a more emotive atmosphere consistent with the rustic feeling of his work.
